It’s safe to say that we’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of the latest generation of Ryzen processors, the 9000 series. This desktop CPU generation is closer than ever and now a new leak potentially reveals all. Early retailer listings have been showing up online for all models, from the flagship to the entry-level 9600X. While we don’t have an exact price tag for US customers, other regions have already leaked some key info – giving way to a close price estimate.

If you’re looking to buy a Ryzen 9000 series CPU on release, you can look forward to the end of July when we’ll see them available for purchase. Here’s everything that’s been found so far online.

Ryzen 9 9950X listed on Canada Computers, plus more

Anyone based in the US should perhaps pay attention to this listing spotted on Canada Computers for the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X. Although the page itself is hidden, a preview can be spotted via Google search results. It is indeed the 16 core Zen 5 processor, with a price seemingly listed at $839.00 CAD. If converted into US dollars, this translates to $609.94. Given that we initially estimated the 9950X price to be around the $699 mark, the same as the 7950X, we could be in for a sudden price drop.

Further listings have been spotted on Bermorzone, which is a retailer based in the Philippines. It lists the prices for all models, which have been converted into US dollars just below. This instead suggests the flagship could sit around the $650 mark, with the 9600X close to $300, perhaps mirroring the $299 price tag we saw for the 7600X at launch.

When will they be available?

We’ve been counting down the days until the Ryzen 9000 CPU release date for a while now. The biggest revelation of course came from AMD itself, as they penciled in a July 2024 release date with the big reveal at Computex. Well, it looks like they’ll be leaving it to the very last day of the month. Despite not listing a price, retailers such as B&H Home Video have already revealed that pre-orders will start on July 31st. The same goes for all models, from the 6-core 9600X to the 16-core 9950X.
