An AMD Ryzen 9 9950X CPU listing has just been spotted on B&H PhotoVideo, suggesting pre orders will start on July 31st, 2024.

There’s plenty of Ryzen 9000-series information circling the internet right now, but some of the most intriguing is a recent leak found on popular online retailer, B&H PhotoVideo. The retailer has listed the highly anticipated Ryzen 9 9950X CPU already, suggesting pre orders will go live on the 31st of July.

Ryzen 9 9950X at the end of July

The next-generation lineup of Ryzen CPUs was officially unveiled at this year’s Computex and many fans of the brand are excited by the prospect of a new product line. Better yet, while the CPUs won’t surpass the 7000-series X3D models from a gaming perspective, they may come at a reduced price point.

The latest leak was reported by VideoCardz, who also shared details on the listings yesterday. That said, a new report posted today goes into inconsistencies between AMD’s release date statements and the B&H listing – saying “This wording may be incorrect since AMD promised a July launch (so hard release date). However, this suggests that the desktop update might be scheduled for the last day of the month”.

AMD Ryzen AI 300 arrives a little earlier

Best Buy has also recently published listings for new laptops using the AMD Ryzen AI 300 CPU, stating a July 15th release date. All being said, we’ll have to sit tight and wait to see whether the CPUs are available sooner than July 31st. One thing is for sure though, the wait for the next generation of Ryzen 9000 Series CPUs is almost over.
