The Witcher Trilogy is one of the most popular video game series out there. In fact, Witcher 3 is one of the best-selling video games of all time. The entire trilogy gives you an open world to explore, fending off enemies with a great number of weapons and abilities.

If you’ve never played any of them but have been toying with the idea, now would be the perfect time as the trilogy is currently available for a very low price. Perhaps you’re a big fan of Cyberpunk and want to go back to CD Projekt Red’s previous hit.

Get 89% off The Witcher Trilogy bundle on Steam

The Steam Summer Sale kicked off a few days ago, slashing the prices of many games. We’re seeing discounts of up to 90%, and this is the perfect time to fill your library. The same can be said for The Witcher Trilogy, which is currently listed with an 89% discount. Previously, you’d have to spend $69.97 on it. But now, thanks to the sales event, you can buy it for only $7.62, helping you save over $60. Keep in mind that the offer will disappear on July 11 – the day on which the Steam Summer Sale will conclude.

We did some extra research to see how this 89% discount sizes up. As an older collection of games, you can imagine that The Witcher series is often discounted, especially now that CD Projekt has more focus on Cyberpunk 2077. According to SteamDB, this sale makes for the lowest-ever price, at least on Steam, the next-best being $11.22.

What is The Witcher about?

In The Witcher series, you play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who uses different abilities and weapons to slay his enemies. You get the luxury to explore worlds that offer a mix of magic and medievalism. The best part is that all three games feature content that will keep you attached to your screens for weeks or months, depending on how much time you invest in them.

The Witcher, which is the first part of the series, can be completed in around 36 hours. For 100% completion, expect to spend another 14 hours. The Witcher 2, on the other hand, has a main campaign that takes around 25 hours to finish, while 100% completion will take you around 35 hours. And finally, we have the Witcher 3, which takes the longest to complete. You can expect to spend anywhere between 50 to 55 hours on the main story. For 100% completion, be prepared to spend more than 100 hours.
